Sub-Region: Cova da Beira.
Climate: Mediterranean with some continental influence.
Soils: Litholic, non-humic, granite with a light texture.
Tasting Notes: Very intense red color, with bluish hints, which ensures its longevity. On the nose, it reveals red fruits, with pleasant notes of vanilla. The aromas are confirmed in the mouth, with a good volume and firm and soft tannins.
Vinification: Manual harvest into 15 kg boxes. Reception with total destemming and gentle crushing, followed by prolonged tanning. Partial aging of the batch in new French oak barrels and natural clarification helped by the bitter cold of Serra da Estrela.
