Climate: Mediterranean with some continental influence.
Soils: Litholic, non-humic, granite with a light texture.
Tasting Notes: Garnet color, with great depth and no signs of evolution. The aroma is attractive, somewhat exuberant and complex, with aromatic notes reminiscent of blueberries, wild flowers and a touch of dark chocolate, which gives it a certain exoticism. On tasting, it is concentrated, velvety, fresh, with seductive retronasal aromas, where the dark chocolate, with a slight bitter touch, gives elegance and a finish that stays in your memory.
Vinification: Manual harvest into 15 kg boxes. Reception with total destemming and gentle crushing, followed by prolonged tanning. Stage in new and used French oak barrels and natural clarification helped by the bitter cold of Serra da Estrela.
