Sub-Region: Cova da Beira.
Climate: Mediterranean with some continental influence.
Soils: Litholic, non-humic, granite with a light texture.
Tasting Notes: It presents an open ruby color and an intense, complex aroma, different from anything that is normal in today's reds. In the mouth it is fresh, velvety, elegant and with an attractive finish, as a result of an intense aftertaste.
Vinification: Manual harvest into 15 kg boxes. Reception with total destemming and gentle crushing, followed by half tanning. Stage in used French oak barrels and natural clarification helped by the bitter cold of Serra da Estrela.
