Climate: Mediterranean with some continental influence.
Soils: Litholic, non-humic, granite with a light texture.
Tasting Notes: Deep ruby colour, clear appearance and great depth. The aroma is attractive, terpenic and very different from the usual. On tasting, it presents an irreverent roughness in the mouth and a beautiful acidity, which give it a special gastronomic aptitude and a great capacity for aging in the bottle.
Vinification: Prolonged tanning, aging in new French oak barrels and natural clarification helped by the bitter cold of Serra da Estrela.
